Overview: We are seeking a talented PHP developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in web development, with expertise in PHP and related technologies. The PHP Developer will
collaborate with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain web applications that deliver
exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Web Development: Design, code, test, and maintain web applications and websites using PHP, HTML, CSS,
and JavaScript.
2. Database Integration: Develop and maintain database-driven applications, ensuring efficient data storage,
retrieval, and manipulation.
3. Server-Side Logic: Write server-side code to handle dynamic content generation, user authentication, and
data processing.
4. Frameworks: Utilize PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) to streamline development and ensure code
reusability.
5. Front-End Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
6. Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance, troubleshoot and debug issues, and
implement security measures.
7. Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate with team
members effectively.
8. API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and web services into web applications.
9. Code Documentation: Maintain clear and organized code documentation to facilitate team collaboration
and future maintenance.
10. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with PHP and web development trends, best practices, and emerging
technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a PHP developer with a strong portfolio displaying web development projects.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, or other relational databases.
Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS,
JavaScript).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of web security best practices.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of RESTful API development
Experience with web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
