We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our software testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and a passion for automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Collaborate with the project team to develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for both new and existing software features.
Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects to the development team. Monitor and maintain the automated test suite.
Integration Testing: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration testing, including API testing and database testing.
Regression Testing: Implement and maintain regression test suites to ensure software stability and compatibility.
Continuous Integration: Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and reporting.
Test Data Management: Create and manage test data to support automated test scenarios.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure effective testing.
Bug Tracking: Use bug tracking tools to report and monitor defects, and verify their resolution.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
* Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
* Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Industry certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
